Question:
I am trying to distribute E-mails from InterForm400. I am using the E-mail finishing function in InterForm400. However InterForm400 refuse to send any of the E-mails. I have tested SMTP and the connection to the internet by use of SNDDST and that works.

What is the problem?

Answer:
The usual problem is, that you missed to specify the positions of keys to use for the page breaks in '5. Definition recipient-ID'. You need to specify the positions here:

Find recipient ID in the following positions  
                Print line   Position        
                     ___     ___ - ___      
                     ___     ___ - ___          
                     ___     ___ - ___          
                     ___     ___ - ___          
                     ___     ___ - ___          
                     ___     ___ - ___

Normally it is sufficient to specify the positions of the keys above.
