Question:
Can chart resources be moved from one installation to another?

Answer:
Following commands are available from version 2000.M05 and version 2000.M56:

EXPCHT = Export Chart to Export library
IMPCHT = Import Chart from Import library

These commands will allow you to include Charts in (export-) distributions.

You export and import charts differently from any other resources:
1. Charts can only be exported and imported using the EXPCHT and IMPCHT commands.
2. Charts CAN NOT be renamed or deleted once exported (from the APFEXPORT-library).
3. Charts does not appear in the list of resources in export/import menu's.
4. Charts are NOT DELETED from the APFIMPORT library once transfered to production. (By the IMPCHT command).
5. No journal- or log-functions in "work with changes" at the "Import menu" are available for charts.

For older versions of InterForm400 this method can be used:

Save and restore the following files:

CHAMSTP
CHAGRPP
CHAOIDP
CHASAMP
CHASETP

- which are all placed in the apf3812 library.

Remember, that existing chart resources will be overwritten when restoring.
